If only...

I took these pictures of you sleeping so peacefully on this random Wednesday morning.
A morning where you were
1 week and 5 days old!
You were sleeping so peacefully...
you looked like a little angel!!
I remember thinking to myself
"if only....If only you would sleep 
like this at night!"

It had been one of those nights...
one of those every 2 hour kind of nights.
As I was reflecting on the night before
I had another thought as I watched you sleeping.
I thought there will come a day...
another day when I say...
"If only...If only she was little again."
"If only I could rock her to sleep just one more time"
These moments are fleeting and I'm trying to hang on to them.
All of them...
the good, the bad, the happy and the sad.
