Great Grandparents weekend
This weekend Owen was treated to a fun, fun, fun, visit from his great grandparents! He had so much fun showing them all of his favorite things. He was being his silly Owen self laughing and jabbering on. They really enjoyed being here and spoiled him rotten!
Owen and His Great Grandpa
Sorry Coop!
I have no idea why he needed a watch necklace. Silly Owen!
When I said he was spoiled I wasn't kidding. Nanny bought him this way cool Yo Gabba Gabba guitar. He LoVeD it!!
He also got this super cool Fort that came with a SLIDE! We all know how much Owen
Loves to slide!
We also made a trip to South Boston, VA to see some of our relatives. This was one of my absolute favorite places to visit when I was a kid. I have so many great memories of running around, riding horses, chasing cows and sitting at the kitchen table eating something yummy! I'm so glad that Owen enjoys it as much as I did! Owen was quite the country boy while we were visiting the farm. We sure do miss Aunt Margaret and Uncle Dub... I bet they would have loved watching Owen run around with all his curiosity!

Owen and Finley's playdate
Owen and I babysat for baby Finley this afternoon. Owen had so much fun watching her and he loved her tiny little hands and feet. He kept kissing her and patting her! He even wanted to pick her up! He got so upset when I told him no that he knocked over his kitchen set!!!! Yikes! I was so surprised at how sweet and gentle he was being. He even wanted to help feed her her bottle. He didn't understand why she didn't eat the whole thing. He kept bringing it back to her and saying "more"! What a sweetie he is!

I scream you scream
We all SCREAM for ICE CREAM!
We joined some friends for an afternoon play date and ice cream!!! It was the perfect hot summer day for an ice cream play date. Owen did not like just plain vanilla ice cream... his ice cream needed loads and loads of sprinkles. Of course he had to do it himself... but he enjoyed every last bite!

Father's Day at the Baltimore Aquarium
We visited the Baltimore Aquarium on father's day for a fun filled afternoon. Owen's grandparents joined us so we could celebrate fathers day together. Owen ran all around the aquarium looking into the fish tanks. But, I think the highlight for him was pressing the button for the elevator. He managed to find it on every floor and HAD to push it. We had a great time until we had to be evacuated by the fire department. We had just made it to the shark tank. Owen had more fun running up and down the ramps than looking at the sharks anyway. We "evacuated" the building and went to grab some lunch. We did a little shopping for Owen and then we headed back to NC. What a great way to spend father's day!!!
