Sweet Baby Gavin

I don't know what I did to deserve you...
but I must have done something right!
You are so sweet...
so happy...
so content...
Even strangers comment on how
sweet and happy you are!
They are always amazed that you are smiling at them!
I tell people all the time how lucky I am
to have such a sweet and amazing baby.
You make having 2 kids seem easy!
I never...ever...thought that would be possible.
From the day you were born you just fit right in.
Making everyday a little better than the last.
Every time you look up at me you smile!
I love to see that sweet baby Gavin smile!!
I look forward to seeing it first thing in the morning
and right before you go to sleep at night!
You truly are a sweet baby!!!
I'm so thankful that you are mine : )

Video Vault : Fun on the Farm

On the farm

Owen is really into farms these days.
So I found a small local farm for us to visit.
It was the perfect size for a fun loving two year old
and his best buddies!
This farm had chickens, bunny rabbits, goats,
pigs, crafts, hayrides, donkey rides and a story time for the kids.
Even with all of these fun things Owen kept asking where the
Moo Cow was...
He was soooo excited to ride the donkey.
He jumped on it and said Giddy Up!!
It was such a fun morning spent with friends.

For those of you wondering where the sweet baby Gavin was...
he was home with his Daddy.
James took the morning off so that Owen
could have a little mommy time.

The Moo Cow

It seems we have a house guest these days!
Not just any house guest...
but an imaginary cow guest!
According to Owen there is a "Moo Tow"
in his room!
This Moo Cow comes in his room and gets his things!!
That's why he puts all of his toys and his favorite blankets
underneath the covers!
He pushes them all the way down to the end of the bed!
That's where they are safe from the Moo Cow.

At first we thought that he was afraid of the Moo Cow.

But as the days went on we realized that he wasn't 

really scared.

He just doesn't want the Moo Cow to get his things!

This is Owen's first imaginary friend.

It's so neat to see his imagination bloom!

I can't wait to hear more stories about our newest

house guest!

I wonder how long he will be staying????

Party Time

As Owen gets older he's starting
to get it!
He's starting to get what this birthday party
thing is all about!
He loves to sing "Happy Day to you!
He gets excited when it's cake time!
He's starting to get it...
and its fun!
I can't wait until it's his birthday!
Now that he gets it!

This guy sure is going to be a lot of fun in college : )

Durham Bulls

Just like we have done for the past 3 years
we went to see the Durham Bulls play ball!
Just like the past 3 years it was HOT!
This year Owen wasn't content just to watch.
He thought when we said that we were going to
a baseball game that he was going to play.
He was a little ticked that all he could do was watch.
Gavin on the other hand was content to sit back and
take it all in!
After all it was his very first base ball game!
Note to self for next year...
pick a day when the temperature is not reaching the upper 90's!
