Trick or Treat

This Halloween didn't start off so well...
in fact it was pouring rain...
for hours!!
We thought we were going to have to
skip Trick or Treating this year.
In order to make the best of it
we got our little Mario Brothers dressed.

Gavin even cooperated for a few minutes!

Soon kids were out Trick or Treating
with their coats and umbrellas....

So we decided to give it a try...
but not before we got a group
pic with Savannah.

Gavin was over it...

and he was over being Luigi.
So James stepped in and saved the day : )

Halloween Fun- Round 2

Today was Owen's Halloween celebration at school!
He was so excited to show his costume to his friends!!!

His class was super cute in the Parade!

He got out of line to give us a hug : )

 
Owen and his best buddy Vikram!

His job was the cheerleader today!
He was cheering for the Star of the day~

After a circle time
they celebrated with a
Halloween party!

Halloween Fun- Round 1

The Halloween costumes finally came in the mail!
Owen was so excited to be Mario!!!!

Gavin...
However...
was not at all thrilled
to be Luigi!

In fact he ran away!!!!

But, Owen Mario wanted
his picture taken...

with who else but Luigi....

Luigi wouldn't have it....

Once again he ran away...

So poor Mario was on his own...

In a moment of weakness we finally
got a picture of Luigi with his hat on!!!

This made Mario happy...

So we got greedy...

and that led to Luigi having a meltdown!!!

So instead we gave up and carved
our pumpkin!!!

We are almost ready
for Halloween!!

Mommy and Owen Time

Our fun morning together started
with breakfast at the hotel.

We jumped on the subway
and headed to the Natural history museum.

 

He liked seeing the different animals.

 

 

We grabbed some oreo's

and headed off to the 

Staten Island Ferry!
Owen is showing his

Cookie Monster face here...

 

We grabbed some Hot Dogs

and had a little picnic on the Ferry!
Such beautiful views of NYC and

the Statue of Liberty!

 

  

 

After the Ferry ride we met 

James at the Shake Shack

for the the BEST Burgers,

Fries, and Chocolate Shakes!!

The Shake Shack was the very 

last thing I ate before Owen

was born!!!

I went into labor the very next day : )

 

We went back to the hotel to 

rest before it was time for dinner

with Uncle Dave at the 

Blue Water Grill!

The Blue Water Grill was
the very first restaurant that
we took Owen to dinner in!

After a fun filled day
our little guy was tired!!
