Colonial Owen

Before heading back to North Carolina we visited Colonial Williamsburg for a few hours. Owen made his own Colonial fun with running, jumping, and swinging on fences. He liked looking at the hats and toys!!

Busch Gardens

We had so much fun at Busch Gardens. There was soooooo much for Owen to do. Lots of rides, things to climb, and water to play in! We were so happy that he rode some of the rides by himself! He is growing up too fast! However, he did like to share a few rides with Mommy and Daddy! We made a lot of great memories during this trip!!

Breakfast with Elmo

Breakfast with Elmo and Friends was so much fun!! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was excellent. The characters were very involved with the kids and each child got to spend some time with each one. Cookie Monster and Bert really liked Owen they both sat down and hung out for awhile with him. I think it's because he was the cutest little guy there! At first Owen didn't really like it... Elmo isn't supposed to be 6 foot tall!! By the end he was running on the stage, slapping fives, and giving hugs. I'm so glad that we decided to do this especially right now since he loves Elmo so much.

Williamsburg Trip

To keep Owen's 2nd birthday celebration going we took a weekend trip to Williamsburg, VA with his Mom Mom and Pop Pop. The weather was perfect for a fun family vacation.

Happy 2nd Birthday Owen!!!

Today we celebrated Owen's second birthday with 10 of his very best toddler friends!! It was a full house but it was so much fun! This year we had an Elmo themed party since he is Owen's favorite character. Elmo cupcakes, Elmo cookies, Elmo goodie bags with crayons and Elmo coloring books, and of course Elmo balloons! It was a special way to spend his second birthday!! He even blew out his own candle this year!!
