Bath Fun x 2

Some may call it laziness...
Some may call it environmentally friendly...
Some may call it multi tasking....
Some may call it genius!
We just call it FUN!!!

We decided to double the bath time fun
and put the boys in the tub together!
Owen loved it and shared his toys with Gavin!
Mommy and Daddy loved it because both boys
were squeaky clean in half the time!!

Summer Movie Fun

It's too hot to play outside! It's to hot for the park... It's too hot for riding bikes... and it's too hot for the pool! Yes it's even to hot for the pool! This 90 degree weather is just to hot! But... it's not to hot to go to the movies with 5 of your favorite friends! I wasn't sure how I was going to get through the movie with a very active 2 year old and a 5 week old baby. Gavin was such a good boy and slept in my arms (of course) the entire time. Owen tried to sit still but just couldn't do it. The movie didn't really hold his interest. To tell you the truth I found Veggie Tales to be really boring too! Even with a boring movie Owen had a lot of fun eating Pop corn and seeing his very best friends! I think I will try it again sometime! After all it's free to try... maybe Owen will like Monsters VS Aliens a little better : )

Lucky Ducks

We had such a perfect sunny day for a picnic! It was a hot day... a very hot day! A shady place to sit and a pond full of ducks was all we needed to make our day complete. Lucky Ducks! Lucky for the ducks that Owen didn't eat the bread from his Ham and Cheese Sub! Lucky Ducks! Lucky for the ducks that Owen wanted to share his Cheese Nips. Lucky Ducks! I had forgotten how much fun it could be to feed the ducks! I love being a parent because I get to see things through my children's eyes! Maybe I'm the lucky Duck!These ducks were smart and jumped up on land to get they yummy Cheese Nips and bread. Owen thought it was hilarious! He fed them with his hand... they jumped up and grabbed it. Lucky Ducks! Such a fun way to spend an afternoon! All 4 of us on this hot, sunny, beautiful Carolina day! Lucky Ducks! These are the memories that we will treasure! We are indeed... Lucky Ducks!

Father's Day 2010

A fun family of 4 picnic is a great way to celebrate father's day! A great way to celebrate a great Dad! A fantastic man who has become an amazing father!

He's an amazing father that... gets up for the 2:00am feedings. Changes diapers, rocks a crying baby, and folds tons of teeny tiny baby clothes!

He's an amazing father that takes care of all of us! Doing all the things that make life a little better around here! I don't know what we would do without him! He's an amazing father that... dances with Owen in the kitchen and tames the terrible tantrums. He brings Owen his "muk"(milk) every morning and tucks him in every night. I hope Owen grows up to be that kind of man... the kind of man his daddy is. He's an amazing father that makes our lives a little better everyday. We hope he knows how much we love him and appreciates all he does!

While a blow up pool in the back yard isn't exactly the pool at the playboy mansion our little Hugh Hefner didn't seem to mind. He was surrounded by 3 little cuties! He was the only boy! It seems that Owen always surrounds himself with girls!! I think we have a ladies man in training!

You are 4 weeks old now!

I feel like you have been part of our family forever!

But...it's only been 4 short weeks!

4 weeks really isn't a lot of time.

You like to pass the day away in so many different ways.

sleeping, eating, swinging, and most of all tummy time.

But I must say that your most favorite way to pass the day

is to be in your mommy's arms.
