Gavin: Two months old

So by the time I got around to doing this post you
are a little more than 2 months old!
You are 2 months, 3 weeks and 1 day old!!!
But you are exactly 2 months old in the pictures!!!

At 2 months old you are ridiculously cute!!!
I mean super cute!!!

At 2 months old you love to

blow bubbles!

It makes me laugh to watch you do it.

It's super cute!

 

At 2 months old you love to hold onto things!

Especially your blankets.

You love to grab them in your cute

little baby hands and put them in your mouth.

I could sit and watch you four hours doing this.

Height: 22 1/2 inches

Owen loved playing in the Ocean in the Outer Banks! He could hardly wait for a wave to come crashing in. Each time he would get so excited and say "Wait for it....Wait for it!" It was hilarious!! I just love how excited he gets.  His zest for life truly is contagious!

After watching this video I can see myself on Sports Center...
telling them that I always knew that Owen was talented.
I'll tell them how he has been playing basketball since he was 2 years old...
I'll tell them how he would get so excited and shout "shoot hoops mommy!"

As our Outer Banks vacation came to an end
it was time for the family picture
to capture another year...
another vacation...
another week of wonderful memories!

OBX 2007

My how things have changed!!

Owen was still in my belly and Gavin was still 

the next baby that was so far in the future that I couldn't even imagine it.

My how things change in 3 years!

The Hanson family has grown by 3!

Life is Good Today: OBX Part 6

After a fun morning at the Pool I thought it would
be fun to have some mommy-Owen time together!
We don't have a lot of time just the two of us anymore.
I miss it! A lot!
I miss it just being me and my mini me...
having fun...
playing...
laughing... just the 2 of us!
Just the 2 of us headed to the beach to meet my friend Lindsey
and her little boy Cole.
I'm so glad that we went because the water was sooooo
blue!! Like Caribbean Blue!! 
It was beautiful!
Owen and Cole had so much fun splashing in the Ocean
and riding the boogie boards...or skateboard as Owen called it : )
It was such a special day...
just the 2 of us!

Owen built these sand castles himself!!!

This morning we decided it was a pool kind of morning!
A morning to take it easy and enjoy our vacation!
A morning without packing up and heading to the beach!!

Gavin was over seeing the pool activities : )

Life is Good Today: OBX Part 4

This morning was looking kinda blah...
a rainy yucky morning.
Not much of a beach morning.
But Owen made the most of it when he found
Twister on the shelf.
He had a lot of fun playing this game
while we were waiting for the weather to improve : )

The sun finally decided to come out

so we decided to head to the beach!

Even though it wasn't the best beach day...

not the sunniest day...

not the warmest day...

we still had the best day!
