Play-Doh

Owen's mom mom bought him some play-doh when she was here over Easter. Owen has enjoyed playing with it. Much to my surprise he hasn't ingested as much as I thought he would! He really likes smooshing it and putting it in and out of the container. Loads of fun!

The littlest Carolina Hurricanes!

Since the Carolina Hurricanes have made it to the Playoffs we joined some of our neighbors for a Hurricanes Party. Owen was dressed to impress in his new Carolina Hurricanes jersey that his Pop Pop bought for him at his very first game. He was so cute...I wonder if we have a future hockey player? He had a blast playing with Jackson, Sawyer, and Patrick while the grown ups watched the game. Thank goodness we have a lot of wild boys in the neighborhood for Owen to play with!

HOT playdate at the park!

Today was one of the hottest days so far this year. But we managed to have a fun time with all of our playdate buddies.

Owen's new backpack!

Since Owen has moved up to a big boy class in his Moms Morning Out Program he needed a new bag that he could carry outside himself. Of course I new just where to go for an ultra cool backpack. Pottery Barn kids had the perfect preschool backpack that was just the right size. He looks like such a big boy when he puts it on.

Playgroup Easter Egg hunt

We had to have our playgroup Easter Egg hunt a little after Easter because we kept getting rained out. Owen had a blast with his friends and really got the hang of hunting Easter eggs!

Easter Weekend

Owen had a very busy Easter weekend. His grandparents were here and the "guys" made a lot of trips to Home Depot. Owen's Pop Pop even bought Owen his own tool box. Owen thought he was really "big" using the drill!In one weekend Owen, Pop Pop, and James managed to put ceiling fans up in the bonus room, put on a storm door, and install a garage door keypad. O-man was very eager to help!

Even with all this work they managed to have some fun outside. Pop Pop bought Owen his very first baseball bat and ball. Owen loved it and so did Cooper!

Easter Gift from Mom Mom and Pop Pop

Owen got his very own sandbox!! He loves it! He spent the majority of the time dumping the sand from one cup to another. I see a few moments of free time enjoying a book outside in my future. The best part about this table is that it's a sand and water table combo. Hours of fun!! He's going to have a blast this summer!

It's Easter Bunny Time!!!!

In keeping with the building theme... Owen got a "Handy Manny" themed Easter basket. His basket was filled with Squeeze, Pat, Rusty, and Philipe. So cute!

As Handy Many always says "Come on tools we have a job to do!"

Sticker Fun

Owen opened all of his Easter eggs from the hunt on the 8th and found some really cool stickers. He was so focused on putting these stickers on the paper. I'm not sure if he had more fun putting them on or pulling them off. It's so much fun to watch him working so hard on his task. He's a very busy boy these days! So much work to do!

Easter Egg Hunt

Owen really enjoyed his first Easter Egg hunt with all his friends at Bond Park. He really had the hang of it this year. If only he would have kept his eggs in his basket. He dumped them out and the big kids swiped them from him. I was so sad for him but he really didn't seem to care. Here are some pics from our fun afternoon!
