Disney Vacation : Day 1

After a whirlwind morning
getting to Disney World
we had the whole afternoon
to have fun!
Aunt Penny was waiting for
us when the Disney Magic Express
dropped us off so we grabbed
some lunch and headed off to Epcot...
or Epi-Cot as Owen calls it : )
We posed for a quick picture
at the entrance gate!
All of us excited to get inside!
As you can see the excitement
was just too much!!
Both boys were asleep
as soon as we got through
the gate!
Only my kids would fall
asleep as soon as you get into
Disney World!!
They were so tired from
all the excitement of the
morning!
We had done a lot that day
and it was only noon!
In retrospect I wish we took
the 3:00 flight on Friday
so we could be rested for
Saturday!
Live and Learn!!!
While my kids were sleeping
we strolled around the park
while Julie, Robin, Ryan,
and Aunt Penny road some
rides!
It was nice to have some
quiet time after a busy morning.

Once the boys woke up
there was a lot to do and see!
We found Daisy Duck
right away!
Owen was really excited
about this!
After he posed for a pic
with Daisy Duck we headed
off to the world showcase!
In Epcots world showcase
they have Kid Cots where
you stop and get stamps
from each country.
On our first stop we decorated
Duffy the bear!
I was stunned that the
only markers offered
were SHARPIES!
Really!?! Disney....
Sharpies!!!
I held my breath until
he was done!

Owen actually posed
for one picture in Canada!
Then he went to the Kid Cot
station to get his Duffy Bear
stamped!
He got a special surprise there...
Winnie the Pooh and Tigger
were in the back!
As we were going through
the world showcase we
ran into some of our family!
My cousins Dan and Mel
were there!
It was so odd to see someone
I knew at Disney!
Owen loved meeting new cousins!
That night when we went to bed
he said" I saw my cousins today
and took a picture"
Before Dinner at the Mexican
restaurant Owen found Donald Duck!
We made it back to our hotel
and couldn't wait to get up
and see the Animal Kingdom
in the morning!
